13/07/25 - Daytime

13/07/2025 - Alex Randall, Sam Hill, Oli Hill, Mike Kushy, George Brooks, Hollie London - 4hrs

5 big skips surfaced, 17 total for the year.

Due to Sam's poor planning of a Shepton holiday planning zoom call we missed Tuesdays session, so had to make up for it between other digs and the Priddy Folk fair.

Oli went down to the still large spoil heap at the bottom, with George hauling up the ladder. Alex moved the buckets up the rift to Sam at Echo, who was loading the Echo hoist and on the juke box. Hollie drove the Echo hoist and loaded the South Pot hoist. Mike operated this and periodically returned to surface to empty the big skip.

It took almost 3hrs to clear the spoil heap at the bottom up to Echo, at which point Hollie had to shoot off to help out selling very questionable clothes at the folk fair.

Beer and biscuits were sent down at this point to fuel a further hour of haul from Echo, but even with this extra effort there is still a decent stack of bags at Echo, at least enough for another session.

I'm told we raised 5 skips of spoil to the surface during the session. Dumper also emptied before heading back to the folk fair. Specifically the beer tent, and the stall selling Twat hats.
